Strain 13 continued

Here's a next picture from the strain13 universe. It's a resistance group sharpshooter, armed with an anti-mech sniper cannon.
As far as I can tell, something's wrong with the values, apparently, but can't tell what exactly. Couldn't nail the colors no matter what I did. Something's not right with the dog, too.
So yeah. Would be happy if anyone could help me out with this one.

Also, here's an hour-sketch. Not quite sure where I'm going with this one.

Strain 13

There's this new thing I was hearing about everywhere. Mainly from awesome artists like Anthony Jones or Dan LuVisi (if you don't know them - you should. Google 'em up). A personal project. Like a bigger one. So I'm making one myself to channel all my work into something worthwhile.
Strain 13 is a concept of a whole universum, set in a dystopic future. The remains of the world are controlled by big corporations that are off-limits for a normal citizen, so the people are left clueless in the chaos caused by the big players. The corporations, political fractions, private agencies are looking for a special genetic strain, nicknamed strain_13 which is believed to have some unique properties. The city is by now a byproduct of the economy, a reserve for the masses, something that doesn't need to be taken care of, rather sealed off and guarded.
Here's the first artwork. These are the corporate robots and soldiers, the feared watchmen, the jailers of the city.

I started a blog, apparently

So yeah, a blog. I thought about it when I realised that I never really got any feedback, really. And I don't mean Academy of Fine Arts reviews, online gallery comments posted mainly for self-advertisement, or Facebook likes. This kind of feedback is not the point. If somebody likes your work, they're gonna press the damn 'like' button, or paste a pre-constructed comment, and when they don't - well, they just close the browser tab. This won't get you anywhere.
So this is an invitation for giving me constructive, even harsh, feedback. I would appreciate every word of it, since I lately change my way of seeing things a bit. I realised I need it to progress. So please do comment, point out the mistakes, make suggestions and all that. I'll be more than happy to read it all and respond.
